SECRET VACATION SPOTS OF CELEBRITIES

Everyone wants to be treated like a star, so, consider putting together vacation packages to celebrity vacation destinations to give away on your radio station.  Even if you can’t pull off a contest involving celebrity vacation spots, this could be the basis of some interesting content on the air.  Here are four of the favorite, secret vacation spots of celebrities:

1.  Il de Re, France is a famous destination for French film celebrities like Gerard Depardieu and Johnny Depp.  The small landmass of Ile de Re is connected by bridge to La Rochelle and on this Atlantic Ocean island there is a boutique hotel, Hotel de Toiras.  Each of its 17 rooms is named after a French or an English aristocrat, author or an adventurer.

2. The Fregate Island Private, as the name suggests, is very private and the paparazzi are not allowed.  This one-square mile Indian Ocean island resort is a haven for honeymoon goers.  Here, every care is taken to keep the identities of the celebrities under wraps.  Pierce Brosnan and Michael Douglas are some of the celebrity guests visiting this island.  There are 16 bamboo thatched villas located on the north-eastern coast of the island where you get a canopied sundeck with a private outdoor Jacuzzi.

3. The Four Mile Beach in Port Douglas, Australia is full of stars who prefer its laid-back vibe to glitzier destinations down under.  The port is at the gateway to two of the most stunning wonders, the Great Barrier Reef and the World Heritage Daintree Rain Forest.  It is frequented by celebrities like Bill Clinton, Kylie Minogue, Hugh Jackman and Sean Penn.  The Sheraton Mirage Hotel stretches across 365 acres of tropical landscaped gardens and has an 18-hole golf course, three high-end restaurants and saltwater swimming lagoons.

4. The Mystique in the Caribbean is a 1400-acre island and a vacation spot for British royals like Prince William and Kate Middleton.  This Carribean Island has been taken over by rock royalty and super models.  It has 12 white-sand beaches, two hotels, and some 120 private villas.  The island ‘s bar is build from bamboo and sits on stilts above the sea.  An 18th century sugar mill is now a home to deluxe boudoirs and duplex suites, a swimming pool, and a luxury spa.
