IT’S PRINCESS LEIA’S BIRTHDAY!

October 21st is Carrie Fisher’s 53rd birthday.  Of course, Fisher’s trademark role was as Princess Leia in the original 1977 Star Wars film which has spawned generations of Star Wars fans. But there is a dark side to “fan-ship”.  Where is the line between being a huge fan and becoming a Star Wars geek?

Consider the topic, “You may be a Star Wars geek if……”

• You paint all of your trash cans to look like R2-D2’s.
• You go to work every morning and ask “what is thy bidding, my master?”
• The bulk of your retirement plan is your Star Wars collection.
• Your kids are named Luke and Leia and have grand kids named Jacen and Jaina.
• You nickname all of your friends as Star Wars characters.
