HOW TO MAKE HOMEMADE HALLOWEEN MAKEUP

Halloween is expensive. We spend more money on Halloween than we do any other holiday except Christmas. But, you can save some money this year by making your own Halloween makeup at home with things you probably have in your pantry. Here is the recipe for homemade Halloween makeup.

Ingredients:

2 Tbsp cornstarch
1 Tbsp solid shortening (Crisco or other cooking shortening)
Food color drops – don’t use too much because it can stain the face!

Directions:

Mix the first two ingredients. One batch is enough to cover a child’s face – the recipe can be easily doubled for adults.

To make different colors, divide the white makeup into small portions in small bowls. Add drops of different colored food coloring a bit at a time and stir.

Apply makeup to skin using fingers, cotton balls, makeup sponges or even clean paint brushes.

After applying makeup pat the skin gently with baby powder using cotton balls or makeup sponges.
