VETERAN’S DAY PROGRAMMING IDEAS

Veteran’s Day is November 11th so here are a couple of programming ideas to might consider to mark the day:

Adopt-a-Vet – Solicit your audience to find a locally stationed soldier who is without family and “adopt” him or her for the holidays. Invite your vet to celebrate Thanksgiving and/or Christmas with you and your family.

Veteran’s Only Day – Consider only allowing U.S. military veterans as contest winners for the day.

Whose Family Has the Most Generations of Military Veterans? – Solicit your audience to find the person who has the most contiguous generations of military veterans in his or her family.
