WE’VE BEEN “ENRON-ED”!

On December 2, 2001 the once high-flying Houston energy services company, Enron filed for bankruptcy.  Subsequent investigations revealed questionable accounting practices and unethical dealings.  The ensuing events caused thousands of employees to lose their jobs and retirement savings.  Now the infamous company’s name has become a buzzword for corporate malfeasance in the late 90′s and into the 21st century.

This brings to mind the topic, “That Name Should Be a Buzzword for……” For example, the buzzword for a celebrity who has gone certifiably nuts would be “Brittany”, for Brittany Spears.  I.E. “Christian Bale has gone Brittany on us.”  The buzzword for getting really drunk could be “Winehouse”, for Amy Winehouse.  “I got Winehoused at a party last night.”  Come up with your own buzzwords and their meanings and then solicit your audience for new buzzwords.  Make a list of the most clever ones to use as resolution to this topic.
