USE COFFEE FILTERS TO PACK AWAY YOUR CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS

One of the most inexpensive and versatile  items on earth is the paper coffee filter.  As you contemplate how to pack away your holiday decorations consider buying a big box of coffee filters at a Dollar Store and using them to wrap up your ornaments.  But this is only one of the many alternative uses for coffee filters besides making coffee.  Here are 10 other Cool Uses for Coffee Filters:

1.  Cover bowls or dishes when cooking in the microwave.

2.  Clean windows, mirrors, and chrome.  Coffee filters are lint-free so they’ll leave surfaces sparkling.

3.  Filter broken cork from wine.  If you break the cork when opening a wine bottle, filter the wine through a coffee filter.

4.  Hold tacos.  Coffee filters make convenient wrappers for messy foods.

5.  Stop soil from leaking out of a plant pot.  Line a plant pot with a coffee filter to prevent soil from going through the drainage holes.

6.  Prevent a Popsicle from dripping.  Poke one or two holes as needed in a coffee filter.

7.  Put baking soda into a coffee filter and insert into shoes or a closet to absorb or prevent odors.

8.  Use them as a spoon rest while cooking and clean up small counter spills.

9.  Use them to remove fingernail polish when out of cotton balls.

10.  Use as a disposable “snack bowl” for popcorn, chips, etc.
