WE NEED A NEW HOLIDAY

Now that another busy holiday season has come and gone many people are experiencing an emotional letdown. Unless you have a birthday in the next month or so, there is no reason to celebrate anything until Valentine’s Day really. And, in the mind’s eye of most guys, Valentine’s Day is really a chick’s holiday anyway. So, consider coming up with a new holiday of your own to plug into the month of January.

For example, WBAB’s Roger and JP in Long Island, New York, celebrate Man-u-ary every January. The premise for Man-u-ary is that there is no real guy’s holiday. So for the month of January they celebrate all things manly like red meat eating, hot women, and outdoor recreation with all manner of creative promotions and contesting.
