I GOT DUMPED ON VALENTINE’S DAY

There probably isn’t a worse time to get dumped than on or just before Valentine’s Day.  Nothing says “I really don’t care about you” more than getting the whole “it’s not you, it’s me” speech around this holiday.  I had a girlfriend who had been dating a guy for six months.  He called her on her cell phone on Valentine’s Day last year to break up with her.  I don’t think it gets any worse than that.

Consider launching the topic, “We Are Looking For The Most Heartless Valentine’s Breakup Ever!” Solicit your audience for their Valentine’s breakup horror stories and pick the worst one as “the winner.”  Consider awarding that person something to make up for the pain of it all like a spa day or shopping spree.
