I’D LIKE TO STUFF HIM INTO THAT LEAKING BP OIL PIPE!

The BP oil disaster has all of us feeling angry at those we feel allowed it to happen and the incompetence surrounding the supposed solutions. I know I’d like to stuff the head of British Petroleum into that leaking oil pipe and see if that might stop the flow. This brings to mind the topic, “I’d Like to Stuff Him Into That Leaking BP Oil Pipe.”

All of us, particularly on a Monday morning, are a little bit cranky. So consider harnessing this emotion by giving your audience the opportunity to vent their hostilities on the air. Solicit your audience for stories of people in their lives who have been rude, mean, obnoxious, etc. to them. Let them tell their stories on the air and then symbolically stuff each of them into that leaking BP oil pipe.

One word of caution. Be sure to set this up by saying you’re looking for personal stories about people in your listeners’ lives who deserve to be stuffed down the oil pipe figuratively, not politicians or any other real people who might be involved in the actual BP process. You want the calls to be fun and funny, not dark and political.
