NATIONAL TELL THE TRUTH DAY

July 7th is National Tell The Truth Day, a day to challenge all Americans to go one whole day without telling a lie and saying anything misleading or dishonest. You could have some fun with this idea by doing the topic, “The Lie I Told My Parents That I Never Confessed To.”

Solicit your audience for their stories of lying about things they broke, lost or did or didn’t do. Then offer to conference them with their parents so that they can unburden themselves on Tell The Truth Day. You could also steer this topic towards significant others if that makes more sense for your demographic target but childhood lies are so much more innocent and easier to cop to than most of our adult lies.
